Sky-Dweller

The Rolex Sky-Dweller is the most technically complex watch in the Rolex catalog, introduced in 2012 as a grand complication designed for frequent international travelers. It simultaneously displays two time zones, features an annual calendar that distinguishes between 30- and 31-day months (requiring only one correction per year, at the end of February), and is set via a patented Ring Command bezel system that allows the wearer to engage different setting functions by rotating the outer bezel — a clever solution that eliminates crowns and pushers from the equation. The movement, caliber 9001, was developed entirely in-house and represents one of the most ambitious horological undertakings in Rolex history. The Sky-Dweller is available in 42 mm in yellow, white, and Everose gold as well as Oystersteel, with Jubilee and Oyster bracelet options and a wide range of dial colors. Pre-owned Sky-Dweller references including the 326934, 326238, and 336934 have developed a strong following as the market has come to appreciate the complexity beneath the elegant exterior. DeMesy & Co. in Dallas has authenticated pre-owned Sky-Dweller references since its introduction, drawing on decades of expertise established since 1987.
